Returns & Support
At Camera West, our approach to returns is simple. We aim to find fair, thoughtful solutions and work with you to meet your needs as best we possibly can. If something is not right, we are here to help. Just reach out and we will walk through it together.
14-Day Return Window
We offer a 14-day return period, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:

Items must be in the same condition in which they were received, unworn or unused, with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.

New items must remain in 100% new condition with seals intact.

Pre-owned items must be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped.

Proof of purchase is required.
All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
To begin a return, please contact support@camerawest.com or initiate the return through your customer account on our website.. Please do not send items back without first contacting us and opening a return request, as unauthorized returns cannot be accepted. We will provide shipping instructions once your return is approved. If the return is due to an issue with the item, we will provide a return label.
Damages or Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will evaluate the situation and work with you to make it right.
Pre-Owned Online Purchase, 24 Hour Inspection Period
Pre-owned merchandise purchased online (not in-store) includes a 24-hour inspection period beginning at the time of delivery.
This inspection period exists so you can confirm that the item matches the description provided and the photographs in the listing. This inspection period applies only to pre-owned items and does not cover change-of-mind returns.
If there is an issue, please contact support@camerawest.com within 24 hours of delivery. Items must remain in the same condition in which they were shipped.
International Orders, Duties & Shipping
We are honored to serve customers around the world and take great care in packing and preparing each shipment.
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are determined by your country and are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. Shipping carriers and customs authorities operate independently, and while we do our best to assist, delivery timelines and customs processing are outside of our control. Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, the shipment is considered in transit, though we remain available to help coordinate and support any shipping concerns.
If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid duties or customs issues, any return shipping costs, duties, or fees incurred may be deducted from the refund.

Non-Returnable Items
Some items are not eligible for return, including film, paper, batteries, and other consumables; special order or custom items; hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases; sale items; and gift cards. If you are unsure about a specific item, please contact us before purchasing.
Workshops & Events
Cancel 30 days or more before the workshop for a full refund. Cancel 14 days before for a 50% refund. Cancel 7 days or less before the workshop for no refund.
Exchanges
We always aim to work with you to find the best possible outcome. If your needs change or a different solution would better serve you, we will do our best to accommodate, including helping furnish an alternative product in place of the original order when appropriate. In many of these cases, we are often able to reduce the standard restocking fee. Please contact us at support@camerawest.com
European Union: 14 Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Items must remain unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval status. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to process. Please note that your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the refund.
