This strap is made from the original, Shigeuchi style weaving cotton cord. This type of sageo was widely used during the Tensho era (1573 - 1592) in Japan. Sailor Straps has carefully selected this piece so it can serve as a unique camera strap. It is very durable thanks to the firmly tightened knitting process making the strap nice and thick. As always the camera strap is beautifully finished with vegetable-tanned leather (up-cycled).
