Leica Camera has released firmware update version 1.1 for the Q Typ 116 camera,improving the image quality in lower ISO settings along with a few bug fixes.
- Exposure has been corrected in digiscoping mode after switching off and on again.
- Improvement of the Live View in monochrome mode in combination with AF tracking. After installation of the new firmware the Live View now shows a monochrome image. For proper focusing the camera switches to color when pressing the shutter button half way.
Leica has announced a firmware update for its new SL (Typ 601) mirrorless camera. Firmware v1.2 improves low ISO performance, the quality of the image on the electronic viewfinder, and makes the process of entering Wi-FI passwords easier. It also adds an image magnification tool for use with Leica M and R lenses, which is activated by the AE Lock button.

Nikon has released firmware updates for its D750 and D4S DSLRs, providing both with a new external recording control option for use with external recorders using Atomos Open Protocol. Also, the D750′s firmware version 1.10 introduces ‘optimal vibration reduction’ with vibration reduction lenses.
Additional firmware updates for both cameras relate to bug fixes in movie live view, and the D750′s update addresses some minor problems with HDR mode and in-camera Raw processing among other things.
Sony has announced a new firmware update for the A7 Mark II adding a 14-bit uncompressed RAW format option. Firmware version 2.00 also adds phase-detection AF support for the A-mount lens adapter LA-EA3 and a movie button custom key setting.
