Canon has announced the new 5D Mark IV DSLR. Superb image quality is achieved with Canon’s all-new 30.4 Megapixel full-frame sensor, and highly-detailed 4K video is captured with ease. Focus accuracy has been improved with a refined 61-point AF system and Canon’s revolutionary Dual Pixel CMOS AF for quick, smooth AF for both video and Live View shooting. The Mark IV includes Canon’s DIGIC 6+ Image Processor, which provides continuous shooting at up to 7.0 fps. Built-in Wi-Fi, GPS, and an easy-to-navigate touch-panel LCD allows for clear views of photos and settings. The improved weather sealing is a big improvement on the body as well. An ISO of 100-32,000 and is expandable to 50-102,400. Canon is slated to start shipping the new 5D Mark IV this September and priced at $3,499.
Canon has also announced two new EF L-series lenses to their line up. First off, the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L III USM Ultra-Wide zoom lens with improved durability, dust, and water resistant. The price for the 16-35mm is $2,199 and an estimated ship date of October.
A new standard zoom lens has also been announced, the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM. Some new perks is an improved four-stop image stabilization and flare and ghost reduction. The price for this lens is $1,099 and will be available in October.
