Camera West is a California-based business which specializes in the highest quality photographic equipment.
Camera West was founded January 2000 by Sean Cranor, and is staffed by professionals who are passionate about photography. We have expert product knowledge and customer service and we are dedicated to strong, long-term, customer relationships. Our products span from large format to subminiature, in both digital and analog formats. We stock new and used items, from the latest digital cameras, backs, printers and accessories to rare and unusual collectible cameras and museum pieces. We opened the first and only true "Leica Shop" in North America in 2002 and now have one of the largest in stock inventories of that product on this continent. In May 2008, we opened our larger store in Walnut Creek, CA. The Walnut Creek location has been highly successful in serving the needs of Northern California. This has given us the opportunity to focus on our Southern California clients. In March 2010, our Monterey store has doubled in size and has relocated to Rancho Mirage.
